I have 12 resident pts. for deer, was thinking of cashing them in for a 4th season hunt. Has anyone hunted the unit, and does it have the potential for a 180 buck. I haven't read much about the unit in this forum, plus I don't know if it had the winter kill there like the gunnison basin and eagle valley. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

With that many points I would look at an early season high country hunt.

We saw plenty that would make any hunters scope shake while looking at there target... Don't forget to take a look at unit 1, 2, and 201. There a plenty of deer running around these parts as well with ample trophies to boot. From what we have gathered there was winter kill but not the the extent the Gunnison area experienced.
