Here is a pic with me and my 2010 muzzle loader open bull in utah general season, public land, DIY. He tapes out at 333 and some change, as a 5x6
my bro "He played a big part in it"
we took turns packing out head/cape- heavy
I will keep the story fairly short. Got in to were we wanted to be found the bull withing the first 10 minutes of light opening day. He was heading our way so we just let him come he got within 200 yards and turned broadside my brother told me to shoot him he was sitting right next to me with tag in hand him self and said I have given him first chance at a nice buck that he got earlier in the year so now it was my turn. I really respect that from him. I put a perfect shot on him could hear the smack of the bullet just as loud as the shot was. Watched him run about 100 yards and piled up just out of sight. I OWE my brother big time for that. I couldn't ask for a better hunting partner. He tagged out on a nice 5 point a few days later. I can't wait til next year.
