LAST EDITED ON Mar-31-07 AT 02:34AM (MST)[p]Blackknight, you have some solid advise here.
McClendon & Sons, AWO, Chappell/Scott, these organizations have reputations that speak for themselves.
The problem with recommending USO, other then the lawsuit, tag grab thing, is that they are booking agents with a reputation for booking lots of hunts. Most of these hunts are farmed out. I'm sure they farm out hunts to the best outfitters they can find, but if they can't find a good one, you get stuck with what's left. With the above mentioned outfits, you can count on their reputations, but with USO, they might book fifty Arizona elk hunts. The first 25 might get real good outfitters, and the next 15 might get an ?OK? hunt, but those last 10 hunters could get stuck with a fly by night operation and a lousy hunt.
You?ve got a great tag, if you're going to spend the money on an outfitter, get the best one you can find.
