So last year I had leftover arrows from seasons before that i decided to run through my new Hoyt. I bought the QAD Ultra rest HDX and have had my blazers vanes rubbing the rest even after it has dropped. Other than having a possible tuning issue I have decided to make a switch in arrow setup to clear the rest and riser when I shoot. Last year i ran Rage 3 blades on a GT XT Hunter 5575 about 27" with blazer vanes. I had a hard time getting a good group at longer ranges (60-90 yards) with this set up and have heard that Rages will do that. My plan is to run a G5 Tekan 3 with the low profile Vanetecs to solve both the vanes hitting the riser and rest and my long distant groups. Anyone solve similar issues? How? Anyone run a similar set up? Like and dislikes? Thanks guys!
