So I have been looking into these new bino/rangefinder for 3k that just came out.
I thought I heard somewhere that the angle range finder does not work under 100yrds?
If thats true does the new hand held 1600B rangefinder not work under 100 yards for the angle also?
I do a lot of archery hunting and thats a big deal to me
Thanks for your help

LAST EDITED ON Jul-17-13 AT 08:25PM (MST)[p]1600B and the binos that use the same engine do not have angle comp under 100 yards.

the new 1000R have angle comp from 10-600. Line of sight to 1000, no balistics. Cosine only for angle comp.

elk, i try 1700 yard shots, my bow has a 4ft wheel on it that turns for my different yardage, when the rangefinder doesnt read back a distance I know the holdover from 16 to 1700.
thanks again for the question
