Like I said, we were talking about two different things the whole time as expected. I don't think he is claiming this bull as 417. Looks like a solid 380+ gross though. Not sure he is even claiming that it's his. I've never hunted wherever they shot that bull but I sure wouldn't skin it in the dirt or sand unless the truck was really handy as in this case. I only skin and bone in fresh snow or it waits until I get home, unless the truck is really close of course. It looks like a nice skinning job and I will give someone credit for that.
