Nikon ED vs Leupold Golden Ring HD

Looking a purchasing either the Nikon ED Fieldscope or the Leupold Golden Ring HD in the 60mm. They both seem like comparable quality scopes and I'm having a tough time deciding. Any suggestions on which of these two scopes I should go with...or any other spotting scope out there in the $1200 range.

I owned both the ED60 and the ED82 and they are both very fine scopes that can hold their own at any price point. Have not looked through the Leupold but I'm sure it is also nice.
