NM 6X6 Trail Cam Picture

LAST EDITED ON Sep-06-17 AT 09:44AM (MST)[p]Just checked my Trail cam this weekend. The Elk are only showing up to water at night or early morning. Where would you find these Bulls during legal hunting hours?

In the darkest part of the thick stuff.
The hotter it is the more they look for a dark place to cool off.
If your cam is picking them up just before sunrise they could be close by, but if it around midnight they can travel along ways before bedding.

That's what I figured Gator. I think I know where they are bedding. I will move my trail cam to a close by trail between the water hole and the bedding area to see what time they pass. This bull showed up closer to midnight.
