NM UNIT 13

I HAVE A CHANCE TO HUNT THE LATE MUZZY HUNT IN NOV FOR 2009.

HAS ANYONE HUNTED THIS HUNT IS IT WORTH 2500.00?

I used to trap that area. There are elk there year round, but I wouldn't pay that much to go on a late hunt unless you know the area or have time to scout. You're talking about going in after three archery elk hunts, an archery deer hunt, a muzzy deer hunt, three earlier muzzy elk hunts, and two rifle deer hunts earlier in November. So, I would say that if you are counting on getting an elk, it probably isn't worth it.

George, call me. I hunted unit 13 and can tell you a little about it. I've got a unit 13 bull hanging on my fireplace that you can come over to take a look at, it'll give you an idea of the potential for that area. Depending on the ranch that tag is good for, it might be a good deal. I killed my bull on a ranch only tag.
