NM Unit 16E

Drew the muzzleloader for unit 16E this year (Oct. 14-18). I have spent a lot of time time in 16D next door but this will be a first for this unit. I've gathered all my maps and have been looking them over and have contacted people I know at Game & Fish but I always like to hear from those who have hunted the area before. Any info would be apprciated. Thaks a bunch and good luck to all come fall...what a great time of year!!!

I have a buddy who drew 16E muzzy as well. He is also looking for some insight from someone who has had this same tag. He is not looking for any honey holes, he would just like some general information.....ie, quality, quantity, difficulty (muzzy in October?).

I know he is planning on taking horses and going in way off the beat'n path, maybe a wilderness.....

no wilderness in 16e but if your buddy has horses and he can get away from the crowd as access is limited...pelona mtn or the lueras would be my bet...good luck...
