I did see two really nice bucks though. One was HUGE by Unit 25 standards.

Several of my water holes in Cruces have been recently filled from some hard rains. They were dry until about 2-3 weeks ago. Hopefully the doves will have time to find them. Good luck and have fun knockin' em down!

BTW, if you've found a quality deer in unit 25...you've done something that most struggle with. That is a tough unit for deer. Few and far between, although I know a few guys who swear by the malpais. I don't know...they must have it down. All i find over there is snakes, pigs and quail.

Anyhow, good luck on the dove hunts.
