Non-Res Deer Pts

I'll have 4 pts non-res after this year's draw. I've been looking over the draw odds and trying to figure out if waiting for a good unit during the second hunt is worth it, like 61 (second hunt 8pts), 44 second hunt etc.. Or should I go for an easier draw unit during the 4th season, like 71 (4th season) I could draw with 5 or 6 pts? When do you think it is the best time to burn pts for a non-res who wants a chance at a great buck?

Personally I don't plan on ever letting mine get over the 6 point threshold due to the new 20% regulation. Beyond that your points will be cheapened.

What you talking about Zim with the 20% regulation? The DOW lower nonresident tag alocation or something?

Hunt codes that require 6 or more points for colo. residents to draw, 20% go to non residents,

Areas that require less than 6 points, Non residents get up to 35% of the tags.
