Just want to clarify what I think I've read. To get an archery tag I have to draw a general tag along with the rifle hunters, then I can purchase an archery stamp to hunt with a bow. There's no separate archery draw or over the counter archery tags. Is this correct?

Thanks

Brad

Mostly correct.

Yes with any general tag you draw, you can purchase the archery stamp and hunt earlier dates as well as the any weapon dates.

There are a few limited draw tags that are specific to archery and some of those tags do end up as leftovers that can be purchased OTC, not many though and usually they are wilderness units that a non res can't hunt anyway.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like there are limited Quota Archery Only tags (Type 9) for Elk but none for deer.
