Obama and outright lies (AARP)

I would not be surprised if the "liberal thinking" board of directors for AARP may have indicated to Obama that they were thinking about endorsing his health care plan. Then Obama jumped the gun and stated they were behind him in full support.

AARP is taking a lot of heat for Obama's claims from their members and enough of them is dropping membership, or threating too and now the board of directors is back tracking.

AARP is noted for their anti-gun stance and one reason I have never joined their organization.

The AARP are a bunch of wolves in sheep clothing. They in fact, did come out in support of Osama and have now jumprd back over the fence due to people 86ing their memberships. You might as well join the NEA or CTA as they are as liberal and weak as any group.
 
I am over 60 and get membership (or got) requests for several years. The admin of AARP is very liberal and I will never join. Generally send there self addressed postage paid envelopes back with witty comments and deer droppings....LOL.

I see now that AARP is running a T.V. add showing cars trying to block an ambulance that is running code 3. Their message is that big money special interest groups is trying to block health care reform. I guess after denying they were in support of Obama and his health care package, they have reversed themselfs again and now support it.

And the republicans controlled both the house and senate during most of Clintoons watch. NEVER forget its Congress that contols the purse strings NOT the President. That also says alot about Bushes last two years,.......I blame him for not using the veto enough on Pelosis watch as well as Tom Delays.

Ya'll better hold on tight we ARE in for a VERY tough ride over the next few years. FDIC is busted and banks own tons of toxic assets. We ARE gonna see massive bank failures, massive home forclosures, massive unemployment. Obama has done NOTHING to address the issues that have gotten us to this point. He's only added fuel to the fire with all of his deficit spending and pushing for lots more with health care reform and cap and trade. I don't know what to do but invest in lead.
