well i went out opening day to a spot where we had seen one the day prior. And seen it again. Could have shot, but it wasn't the best shot. 40 yards, but behind some tree limbs. Couldn't see the shoulder or vitals all that great. Then went out yesterday and shot him from about 35 yards with my .308. Didn't go 30 yards. It had huge paws and a big head, but only 200-225 lbs. Not a bad coat, but we drug it out on a logging road, so it wore some of it off. It was really long and lanky. It would have been an easy 300 lber in a couple months. Pretty skinny.
