A few are out around Bonanza, around 15 miles east of Klamath, on sunny days. I was able to bag a few, but still the rats are very sparse. Can't wait until later this month when they show up in bigger numbers.
I used to let guys shoot on my place but the crops I'm growing near the foothills have getten rid of them and what few are down in the valley are surrouned by houses these days. up around Paulina there are plenty of them, some of the best places are charging a small fee to hunt them now I hear. I shot so many when I was a kid I don't much care anymore.
