Otc archery elk

Who is going to be chasing elk in a few days on an otc archery elk tag?
This will be my first year I am pretty excited to get after it. If you feel up to posting some pics of the past bulls you killed while hunting the otc archery elk hunt to get everyone excited to get out and chase some elk that would be great!

Good luck last year Oregon will be OTC for most of NE Oregon if thats where you are going.

Yeah unfortunately this will probably be my first and last experience hunt the archery otc in the NE section of the state. Hopefully I’m successful but either way I will enjoy it.

The nice thing is that you should be able to find a good spot this year and then next year just apply for that unit. I think most will be able to be drawn first choice with zero points. A couple like Starkey and Heppner might end up taking a point but IMO a bunch of guys will jump ship like they did with the deer. I think every single deer unit could be drawn first choice and most second choice this year.

NP is right. Odds are good you might be able to get your archery elk tag next year on a second choice
