Still curious why you clowns are ok with fully automatic weapons, sawed off shot guns, BMGs being banned.

Why no outrage? Our forefathers would be rolling over in their graves. I'm confused.

Also, just curious when the next mass shooting involving a semiautomatic with extended clips....er...uh....magazines will take place.

Maybe I should stick to one question at a time.

Since the VAST majority of crimes happen while someone is impared in some way, why don't we go after that?

-Get rid of Drunks, drinking all together.
-Get rid of Marijuana
-Crack down on drug abuse.

Want to see crime go down go after something that matters.

We tried prohibition how did that work? we've spent billions to fight drugs how has that worked?

I can do better than that, I'll let you prove assult weapons make us safer. Your requirement in order to keep your black rifles to prove they do no harm, because public opinion is shifting fast and it's more than possible the 2nd amendment is not in your favor.

So it comes down to opinion, logic would suggest less assult weapons would mean less chances of a crazy kid getting is hands on one would it not? or might more assult weapons mean he might trip over an assult weapon on his way to get an assult weapon and get a bloody nose which would screw up his plan to use it? is that your theory? because I see no other way more means less.

I can't recall mass shootings with fully automatic assault rifles, BMGs or sawed off shotguns and those are all illegal. Seems like it would make sense to ban semiauto assault rifles with long ass clips....errr....I mean magazines (man-killers). Anything to prevent mass shootings that have no real value. Nugent guns you might say.


Who said I wasn't funny? Yes I am trying to keep up with 440 but NO ONE can out match his wordsmithing or even come close for that matter.

So why no outrage for these guns being banned? It violates our 2nd Amendment doesn't it? You all should rally. Say get 9 or 10, no 15 million moms to march our nations capital to get our 2nd Amendment rights back in order.

That is common sense, weapons which are not available are not used and sawed off shotguns though illegal yet available are not used because they're not as effective as a black rifle.

What part of this suggests an assult weapon is insane? assult weapons are the top choice of todays mass shooter because they're made for the task and they're available.

The world has pushed for a nuclear nonproliferation treaty because it's logical to assume less nukes reduces the chance of their use. your logic is since nukes exist already you might as well let everyone and their crazy kids have a supply. that only sells to wingnuts and retards.

Nobody says a ban is a cure, but the NRA said they're open to anything that will help, explain how less assult rifles MIGHT NOT help.

Since the VA tech incident, there have been 24 ?Mass Shooting? incidents- Of these:
6 - of them, the weapon of choice was an assault rifle. These 6 incidents resulted in 69 deaths or 11.5 deaths per incident. (some of these incidents also included handguns, but for this exercise, the deaths were listed under assault rifles)

18 - of them the weapon of choice was a handgun, or a collection of handguns, shotguns, 22 rifles. These incidents resulted in 155 deaths or 8.6 deaths per incident.

Full Auto Weapons are not illegal, neither are sawed off shotguns, they are Class 3 weapons. To own or manufacture them you have to pass ATF background checks, pay $200 bucks and register them with NFA.

Let's call a spade a spade, Black rifles are the sacrifical lamb that some people are willing to put on the chopping block, mainly because, it'll make everyone have a warm fuzzy that they did something, plus they are not as popular as other rifle, handgun types, and alot of people don't have them so it is OK to ax them.
Banning them will not do 1 thing to curb the senseles BS going on. So they can't have one, they'll just use a handgun, so what. To think otherwise is pure stupidity.
I highly doubt any of these whack jobs are going to say " Well I ain't got no AR or AK so my plans of shooting a bunch of people then offing myself are out the door now".

So basically you are saying that, had the shooters been packing semi auto assault rifles they could have done far more damage.

I'd agree with that, if they'd had an assult rifle chances are they'd have used it and done a better job. so let's give them what they want?

As far as the numbers go, yes it's undestanable that overall more shootings would be with handguns because more handguns are available. kind of what we already talked about. the point is if you really want to get 'er done the assult rifle is what you want which we see by the death toll where they've been used. if they buy quality clips they won't have problems like the batman shooter freak had in CO, how many dead would there be in that case if he hadn't jammed?

So the black rifle is in the jot seat because it deserves to be, 26 is the number to beat for the batchits now. do you want to bet the new record is set with a black rifle?

No, as far as shooting, 33 is the record. VA Tech- Shooter used a Walther P22- 22 and a Glock 19 9mm.
If you are serious about this then, we are going to have outlaw all weapons used, we can't look past any of them, pistols, shotguns, all of them.
Or After all 8.6 deaths is OK, but 11.5 is not? Or is 10 the cut off? that 1.9 extra death's is the tipping point?

Or is selective culling to suit the masses Ok?


If your in the business of wanting to save lifes, why don't you try to outlaw abortion? 3,700 of them were done the same day as this conneticut shooting.

There is that selective culling again. It's Ok though some poll that nobody ever takes says it is ok.
