LAST EDITED ON Mar-17-09 AT 07:57AM (MST)[p]I have a pair of Cabela's Rain Suede packable bibs that I just bought out of the Bargain Bin and was looking for a similar packable Parka or jacket. I hate to pay the full price for the Rain Suede and was seeing if you guys might have some alternatives that have worked well for you while being a little less pricey. I like the looks of the Cabela's Space Rain ultra pack line, but I'm not sure how good it is. I'm mainly looking for something to throw in my pack during warmer weather hunting when it's too warm for waterproof clothing all day. Any thoughts?

I have the Space Rain for the same reason. It has worked pretty good for the occasional rain storm or thunderstorm here in Nevada. I haven't used it for heavy down pours. It doesn't seem to breath well, but seems to work well for the exact thing it was designed for. I don't think it is very tough and would tear fairly easy, but good to ride out a storm without getting soaked.
