Lookin to visit Pinedale and surrounding areas to view wildlife.....obviously without disturbing them . Prospect mountain would be ideal. How is the road access to prospect mountain. Any info would be appteciated.

Thanks really just looking for some good spots around Pinedale to view mule deer and elk this time of year. I heard prospect mountain south of Pinedale is a great place just trying to get some pointers on where to go to enjoy these great animals without disturbing them.

For Elk, unless you have snow machines and want to go visit the elk feed grounds it’s best to drive one hour North to the Jackson Elk Refuge. For deer anywhere East of highway 189 East of Big Piney or LaBarge. Post your Pics here.

Be careful. We have been getting wind and snow and more tomorrow. Drifts are building up. 2 days ago we ended up going 60 miles out of the way to get home because the roads all
Drifted in behind us

Was up there yesterday. Little windy. Not too bad though. Saw a few good bucks. Nothing really impressive yet, but only spent a few hours looking. Lots of 24 to 26" 4x4's and a few smaller and a few a little bigger.
