Preserving boots

What do you guys use to preserve your boots. I've always use the obenaufs rub in stuff and it works good. But do any of you use something on the seams to hold the together better. My dad bought a pair of kenetreks off of a guy and he had put something on the seams, it almost looks like glue and it sure seems to work good.

I leave them in the box they came in.....and wear slippers...the truck heater works better on my feet that way

Clean them after use. Coat them with a good boot wax, not oil. Most oils wil break down the glue over time.

The guy probably used seam sealer on the stitching.

Kenetrek has there own brand of boot waxs. You may want to try for there boots.

Probably shoegoo. I put it on high wear spots.
