Pretty quiet up north

Spent the weekend on the Cache South area wandering around. It rained hard up in the Sinks on Friday night. Saturday I crossed fresh tracks, but no bull or cow talking in the Peter Sink area where I was. Still pretty quiet.

Same with the area I am hunting up north. The only bugles I heard was saturday and it was some yahoo on a ridge. Had a group that I am after talking but it was just the cows who were talking. It was only in the evening though nothing in the morning. Jumped them out of their bed in the morning was able to stop a cow with the call but no return.
