-Hey everyone, new here. I looked around and I think this is the best place to place this thread (sorry if I'm blind and missed it!).
-I'm just wondering if anyone can help me out here.
-I'm a 21 y/o College outdoorsman who has spring break from March 9-19 this year. Going to school to become a game warden/Conservation Officer. And I don't have a whole lot of money (about $2,000 in the bank)
-I'm looking at taking a hunting trip over this time as most of my buddies will be at the party beaches and that's just not my scene. No preference where (in the US or not) or what species (I'd like to stay away from bird hunting if possible as I do a lot of this already). Also open to taking a fishing trip.
-My biggest issue is finding a hunting trip that doesn't break my bank (the cheaper the better).
-Any ideas or previous experiences and prices?
-I have Experience hunting whitetail, turkey, pheasant, and ducks.
-I live in Wisconsin and would probably drive (unless flight is somehow cheaper) to the destination.
-I'd like to keep it cheap ($2,000 isn't cheap for a working college kid)
-Guided or unguided I'm just worried about having an unsuccessful trip if unguided. (Never been on a guided trip either)
-Thanks for your help! Any tips, info, experiences, guide services, locations, etc will be greatly appreciated.
