This is the earliest I think I've ever seen this list....

As much talk as the Vernon has had about poaching it's surprising they are increasing the tags. Between the three hunts it was around 30+.

WOW! what happened to all the buffalo? last year 170 people drew buffalo tags, now this year they are recommending only 39 permits.

Well, if those numbers are approved then there will be a good bull elk hunt for me this fall. That's good for me, but maybe not for everybody still waiting.

143 tags, thats crap... I spend quite a bit of time out there, and there isn't even 143 big bulls out there...

Are the numbers before the expo tags are taken out? For example, last year shows two nonresident Henry buck tags, yet only one went to the draw because the expo took one. This year, three are recomended, likely leaving two for the regular draw. If that holds, one will go to max points...
