Yep it rained for about 32 straight hours here. We are high and dry here, but it did flood just down the street. Our house is on the edge of a large flood relief plain/field that could flood us out if it were to create a lake that is about 20 feet deep and half a mile wide. The city built the plain based on 200 year flood levels so, it hasn't been that bad in over 200 years and though it could happen, the odds are good that it won't. The water in the field was about knee deep I'd guess but only about 50 yards wide and was about 100 yards from the small hill the house is on. So we were good. But this is what happened down the street - about 1 mile away.

This road is relatively new and the bridge the water is running over is usually about 20 feet above the normal water levels, - this is not considered a "low water crossing"! You can see the train trestle running above the road. We fish underneath it from time to time and it is usually just a small stream. It closed the road going north but luckily we could still go south and get around where we needed to go. This is about 300 yards from the turn off down in to our street.

This is in another area of town about 2 miles away. This car was carried down the creek about 600 yards before it came to rest in these folks' backyard.

Wild weather! Thanks Hermine.

But we are safe - thanks for the concern!
