I have the traveling sportsman chukka, not the hunting boots. The leather is thick and very high quality, fit was suprising a little loose but acceptable, My gore tex lined chukkas are much hotter then these, they weigh a ton and there is no cushioning at all, just leather right down to the sole.

All things considered I like them fine, but the cushioning and weight and big draw backs if i'm on my feet all day.

Just got my Russell short PH's last week. Took about three months to get them but well worth the wait. Mine seem to fit pretty well maybe a little loose around my arches. Other than that I will get a new pair as needed in the future. I had them use that new scent control leather, hope it works as good as they advertise it...............Stan
