Sandias

Has anyone done the GMU 8 deer hunt in the Sandias I'm from out of state but try to visit my grandparents that live in Paako a couple times a year. I thought I should start trying to get this tag but they only give out 50 soooo.. Any imput?

Its actually a pretty good hunt. You do have to hunt hard to find the deer but they are there and there are usually a few decent ones. The good thing is your close to town, bad is all the damn people. Plus the sandia bear watch people might give you a hard time, I would suggest calling the cops if they were to harrass you. Its a tough hunt to draw but a good one. Good luck!
