Say Goodbye to the Roadless Book Cliffs

Does anyone have more details on this? I grew up exploring this country on horseback and foot, and love the remoteness of it. Sad to see it turn into an oil and gas field! Road hunters probably won't mind, but those of us that like to pack in and get away will miss the nature of this amazing area.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-27-13 AT 06:26AM (MST)[p]SO VERY VERY SAD! I hate to see stuff like this. Western Wyoming is a prime example of how bad the oil and gas industry has ruined so much land and created havoc.

I know Grouse populations, Antelope and other wildlife have dramatically suffered due to the hundreds of miles of roads that are now there...

I hope Utah wakes up and can somehow reverse this.
