Aaron,

It was passed under the guise of making government smaller. That's hardly a liberal idea. I don't like it though.

I think the merger makes sense since both entities are doing similar work. I hope it streams lines some of the processes and doesn't create a quagmire. I am also hoping this might be able to add a few more seasonal wildlife officers out in the field during critical seasons when the Parks are slowing down. I have my fingers cross and hope for the best.
