I haven't talked to him this year, but Jared Steel will have competitive prices and won't d!ck you around with grading. But if you only have brown elk to sell that wouldn't matter. That's a good price. I was quoted quite a bit lower in Southern Utah. Where you located?

No I don't shed hunt for the money I just don't have anywhere to keep all the sheds I find so those of you wanting a license to sale sheds or ban the sale of them can lick em!
That’s an interestingly long and drawn out way of saying you do it for money.I don't do it to give them away neither I spend my fair share on getting to them and hauling them out.
If you have working legs get out and find some!

Was not looking for a handout. Just someone to stop by and visit on one of my hunts and possibly buy an antler or two for projects.I don't do it to give them away neither I spend my fair share on getting to them and hauling them out.

A lot of us do it because we love doing it, and would no matter what they was worth. But we also ain't gonna throw money away when we have it in our hands.
That doesn't mean we are "Doing it for the money"
I would literally have a garage full of sheds if I hadn't started selling them several years ago. (I still have way to many) I only keep the bigger, or unique ones these days, the rest go to the horn buyers as they just take up space. I went many years without selling until I finally just had to many and needed to move them. Decided I was better off just selling them.
