You guys are going about this all wrong....I checked in my dads cow moose and there were two seperate guys with bulls...one 3+1 and the other 3+2...

This is my first year out of the penalty box for goat so no chance.. but built up about 3+5? for sheep? and gobs of weighted for moose ....

Lol! Had a buddy draw it 3+1 a couple years back. Called him everything but......

I'm in for sheep with 3+17, and goat with 3+10, put in for bowhunts on both. It would be nice to finally draw a sheep tag, but obviously not counting on it. I got lucky last year and drew moose with 3+11, which had worse odds than my sheep application, so it can happen.

I got hit this am for a $100 charge, guessing that is just my non-resident license fee and habitat stamp and didnt draw? They didnt charge that when applying for some reason, I guess if you canceled an app you wouldn't pay.

I have two $50 charges. Assuming I didn't draw and that is for my two more bonus points

You were charged for a qualifying license, habitat stamp, and application fee when you applied. That $100 charge is for your preference point.

It sounds like you didn't draw and they charged you $50 apiece for your Goat & Sheep preference points ? If you are a Resident if not $100 apiece for Non Resident ?

Results are ?kind of? posted.

If you look at your application it shows a different price than just the app fee. My sheep and goat showed $7 before but now it shows $57 so i didn't draw.

NR so mine shows $109 plus my credit card was dinged $100 for a preference point. Dual confirmation that I won't be going sheep hunting again this year. Most likely going to let my 3+17 points ride from this point forward rather than investing $100 per year on points with little incremental value towards drawing a tag. Good luck everyone!

Yep, looked at my CP&W account and the charge for sheep and goat has been changed from $7 to $57. No soup for me!

Outstanding congratulations!

>Score!, December rut archery ram
>hunt. STOKED!

I guess i never worried about the rut before. Do you think the change in ram behavior outweighs the weather risk (i dont know those units so maybe weather isnt as much of a factor that time of year). Although some of those timberline lightning storms make you wish Jesus wasnt so focused on pro athletes.;). Just curious not trolling you.

Congrats on the sheep tag.

I finally drew my sheep tag. Rifle S20. Had to look three times to believe it and only then did I actually call to verify as well!

Yeah I'm a NR. Basically, kept refreshing and they must have done Mtn Goat first. I got the second CC hit about an hour later.

Sorry for the late post...
Amazingly, my brother drew sheep- this will be our third year in a row hunting sheep in the same unit. I drew this tag two years ago, my dad and nephew last year, and my brother this year... absolutely stupid lucky.

Cheers- Dave

Congrats to you lucky ones! Colorado Boy, What did you get? MQQSE I saw a couple rams in your unit twice this week, Pmd you as well.

Trophyhunter - What unit did you draw? Someone drew the unit that I usually apply for this year with 6 weighted points. If you PM me, and it's the same unit, I could fill you in on what I know; I've been keeping track of it for the last few years.
