South Central / South East OTC Archery Elk

What are your thoughts for the best OTC Archery Elk hunts in the South Central or Southeast units of Idaho?

Hunt is for three-four seasoned hunters not afraid of doing some hiking to get into some bulls.

I am not familiar with SE idaho, but everyone sure seems to b*tch about the hunting in that area of the state as of late. Drive just a bit further and look into the Sawtooth, Smoky Mountain, or McCall zones. Plenty of elk and plenty of OTC opportunity to carry a pocketful of tags around while having a great hunt! If you are willing to scout and look where no one else is there is some honey holes to be found.
