SPOT/Delorme PN-60w available May 2010

Looks like the GPS with the SPOT satellite locator will be available in May 2010 according to what I read on Amazon.com
If it functions as it is was meant to then the $549 price tag is not that bad considering the piece of mind family and friends will have with periodic updates from you.

I dont think its that far out of line either considering your getting a GPS loaded with maps plus the Spot. Does anyone know what the cost per year will be for this?
