I've been reading a few post's lately and there are a few on here who are more than a bit misinformed.
Let me clear up a few things for those of you who seem to be talking a little bit of garbage.
I have hunted with stinky a LOT. His hunt is going to go as follows:
His "guides" will have scouted out the unit thoroughly and figured out the best starting place. Stinky will hit the ground running and by ten o'clock on opening day NOBODY will have a clue where that boy went!! The guides will be in the prone position gasping for air because they "tried" to keep up with him. He won't have a clue where he is but he will be found on day two with a 386-390 bull quartered, caped, and ready to pack out. The only reason it isn't packed out is because he had a brief moment of common sense and decided to figure out which way to go!
The bull won't go 400 but it will be a gorgeous specimen of the wapiti. As close to perfection as anyone could hope to find. Stinky absolutely LOVES elk and gets excited about ANY bull and without his guides present he will drop the hammer on that Lapua because that elk is HUGE!!!
Also. The elk will be shot from the unbelievable range of 73 yards. He has the capability of taking it from 1200 but it won't work out that way.
I hope I get to tag along on this hunt with him but not too sure I'm gonna make it but you can bet I will be right there with the guides huffing and puffing listening for a shot because I can't keep up either!
I know some of you are just giving him a hard time but there are some of you who really should give it a rest because you really have NO IDEA who you are talking about!
