Sudden Change in Zero

Hello all,

I am just getting back into the great sport of archery after a 15 year break. I bought a new Diamond Black Ice and have been shooting it for the last 3 months. This last week my zero changed so I was shooting about 6" low. This was on my last group for the day. I was tired and thought it might have been me. I put the bow away. I returned to the range a couple of days later and found I was still 6" low.

I checked to make sure everything was tight and made a sight adjust so I was hitting again. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this. Is this a string stretching? Do I need to have my bow looked at.

Thanks for your input.

Dave

start simple...

The first thing I would check with a vertical change of POI is the peep sight, followed by the nock point.

Hey Turkrazy
I had the same problem with my bow it was the knock. It had moved don't know what made it move but it did.
