i think most people on here feel like the state isn't doing enough here in Utah to help deer numbers, and that the proposed changes for 2011 won't do enough. With that in mind I was just curious as to how many people out there would be willing to just not hunt next year. Most on here say they would be ok with reducing tag numbers, and suspending hunting for a year or stuff like that, but would you be willing to take it into your own hands to help the deer numbers and just not hunt? I realize that the buck to doe ratio isnt the real issue and that this would have to happen on a large scale to have any effect. But I personally know I could go a year without, and could probably get my brothers and dad to not hunt.
I dont know, just a wierd idea. I was just thinking that if we as sportmen and hunters aren't satisfied with what the state is doing for the deer then we could step up and do it for them ourselves. Just curious to see what you all think.
