Another post motivated me to create a new post.

Anyone feel free to add their own reasons.

I got a few to start with.

1. Texans (all you Texans I hope you know this is in fun)

2. I slept in.

3. Wolves

4. Sonic booms

5. My dog ate my bow

6. USO outfitters (are they even around anymore??)

7. Squirrels or squirrel hunters.

8. Chronic Wasting Disease.

9. Obama

10. I ate the mushrooms I found while hiking.

Someone stole my trail cam and I couldn't locate the bull I've been tracking all summer.

Couple more.

The governors tag holder shot him out from under me.

It is ELKMANS fault

I could not get a plane to fly my unit the day before my hunt.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-16-10 AT 06:47PM (MST)[p]...it's gonna be mine, too. That, and that stupid railrunner made my taxes go up so much that now I can't afford to hire stinky to be my guide... ;-)

I was hunting with Mozey and he had 1st shot.LOL yea right.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

- I left my release in the truck (really happened)

- Californians (how do you forget about them)

- I didnt wear enough face paint

- I just found out that Scent-lock doesnt work.

Paul how did you leave your release in the truck!?

and ya those dang californians ruin everything :)

and of course sent lock doesn't work! its the most sucessful propaganda in the hunting community!

Yes, I did leave my release in the truck several years ago.

I also had a bull talking to me during the same season and was working in on him.
I bugled, went about 100 yards and was getting ready to answer him and realized I left my bugle on a log.

The bugle was camo and it took me about 20 minutes to find it.

By then the bull lost interest in me.

The ex Californians are the worse.

I am embarrassed to admit that the moment of trueth was upon me once, and I too had left the release at the truck. Had the spare in my pack but it was way to late.
