I know there are other requests for tripod recommendations on this forum, but they are all over the board with recommendations. What I am looking for is a tripod to accommodate my Vortex Razor HD spotter and perhaps my Vortex Kaibab and my Swarovski 10x50 binos. I recently purchased a Phone Skope to attach to my spotter too. My key considerations in order are:
1. Sturdy and steady when in use.
2. Built to last.
3. Good value.
4. Weight (mostly day hunting with occasional overnight in the backcountry/Wilderness).
I will likely be glassing from the sitting position. I was watching a Mountain Project Q&A video on YouTube, and those guys said Outdoorsman tripods are the only way to go. What do you all think? Thanks for the advice!!!
