After the Presidents recent tweets essentially saying those who don't like what he's doing can leave. I have to say, if you just blindly follow the guy off a cliff that's just shameful. He?s essentially telling half the nation they can get out of the country if they don't agree with him. His comments to the minority women in Congress?who I don't agree with politically, and 3/4 who were born in America?telling them to go back to their own countries is absolutely racist, and several things he's said have absolutely been border line. I know that's hard for so many in the whitewashed mono-culture of Utah go understand why Trumps rhetoric is insulting to people of other cultures and minorities. I don't agree with the liberal/left on a lot of things, but Trump is a childish clown who does race bait for political purposes and say some pretty stupid and terrible things at times. Both sides do it, but I get tired of seeing those I know endorse things that are so terrible. Take a step back and don't follow the man like a blind sheep, because he does say ridiculous, classless, and yes racist things at times. Most of you, including me, live in a small bubble, with people that think like us and are exactly like us. Everyone?s guilty of it, me too, but some of you should take a step back and really consider the impacts the Presidents behavior and comments have on others. Politics suck in general, but they are beginning to suck more and more. Your fellow Americans are not your enemies as different as we may be at times.

Now many on here I'm sure will take exception to this post or have some snide comments. It's whatever, some of you need to take a step back and look at your brand of politics. Blindly following any politician is poison, including Trump.

We?re all Americans, and disagreement doesn't mean anyone should leave. Trump spent his entire campaign talking about how run down America was, it was actually quite fine. Some things he says are just wrong, and it's okay to admit that. The left is crazy on a lot of things. Trump is a clown of a President a lot of the time and it's okay to admit that as well. Honesty instead of following political parties like blind sheep would be refreshing, but I mean if it pisses off the opposite political party many of you will turn a blind eye to racism, and comments like telling half the nation they can leave if they don't like him. Keep the same energy when a Democrat tells you that. But like I said, turn a blind eye in the name of politics.

I must habe missed the racial slurs in his tweets, I also thought I read in the tweets he said to go away and come back and tell us how to fix the problems. Ill admit, i knew who he directed the tweets to. He directed them to the women, who constantly make anti American coments, racist anti jewish comments, pro illegal alien pro socialist comments, who are anti capitolism, anti 2nd ammendment, entiteled women, who happen to have ties to shizt hole countries and also HAPPEN TO BE WOMEN OF COLOR. The tweets would apply to anyone, any race,who has a history from other countries that constantly whine and ##### anti American speech.... what country with evil white people migrating to the U.S. and given a national platform fit the bill. By you thinking, if there are no white anti American politituons spewing anti American hate. To be included in the group, then tweeting negitivly against the group is racist... bunch of B.S. stop hating.

Unlike you- I along with a growing number of people in this great land, believe in total equality. In doing so- we do NOT believe the color of your skin or what type of wedding tackle you posses should shield you from criticism. No not at all. See this is America, you're free to have different viewpoints. You don't have to love everything about America or think it's perfect. That's what's great about America. These are elected official elected by American citizens in our great country. Telling them to go back to their country (when 3/4 of them were born here) has simply nothing to do with anything but what they look like to say such a thing. And yes, it is racist, and no disrespecting half the country telling them they can leave is not what the President should be doing. He?s a childish clown.

I'm well aware that the responses from the people here who have lived around a culture that looks, acts, talks, and believes exactly what they do as an echo chamber of the worst sorts is not the place I'm going to get a reasonable response. Maybe if they walk out their door and look and realize that 90% of the people they see are the exact same as them they might realize maybe just maybe they don't understand where people of other beliefs, races, and cultures are coming from. But they won't, they'll stay in their safe echo chamber as you're saying. Both sides of the isle are disgusting, I just know where most here lean and I wish we could all just be better. Following Trump blindly while he says terrible things in no better than following the left down the path they want to go at times either. Half the country didn't vote for and doesn't agree with him on anything. Telling half the country to leave if they don't like it is asinine. The freedom of America is the freedom to express an opinion. I'm not defending the politics of those who he's directing it at, I'm saying it's irresponsible and terrible of the President of this nation to be so divisive and tell elected members of congress to ?go back to their countries?. All politics are disgusting, including your God and savior Trump. I'm not defending the politics of the left, they are divisive and gross as well, but seeing people I know preach being good people or actually caring about America while blindly defending the clown in office is offensive and sad to see. If you're defending a clown just because he's your clown, doesn't make him any less of a clown. Trump borderlines racism far too often, and it's sad some of you are okay with his actions just because he makes liberals mad. If that's all you care about you really don't care much about the future of the country or stopping the divisive nature of our country.

I'm not defending liberal politics. I don't think they right on everything or wrong on everything. Conservatives are also not right or wrong on everything. He may not be a POS Democrat but his absolutely still a POS person, he just has some of the politics you like next to the POS label. Sorry, Republicans view on public lands and the environment are also pretty dangerous as to the future of wildlife and wild places as well. I vote for a candidate, not a party.

I agree the media is bias. Some of you are absolute clowns to use ?fake news? as your defense to everything. Trump himself is very much liar you're just picking and choosing the lies you want to believe. They?re all liars including him. Trump is a self aggrandizing, selfish, disgusting person with very low morals and the fact some of you, you know those of you who go to church every Sunday and pretend you care about moral character, defending that scumbag is laughable. I don't hate everything he's doing, but I think he and the person he is is a POS. Why? Because he's shown it time and time again with his actions and words. Get out in the world, meet people who think and are different than you. You?ll find they aren't so bad and don't deserve to have the things said about them that the current President of the United States says.

Also I agree, Obama was a divisive President as well, but for people who say Obama was decisive and praise Trump just because he's just as divisive in the other direction is gross. At some point you can't just put on the blinders and support every disgusting candidate just because they're on your side of the political isle.


Also, very sorry for the inconvenience of race being brought up at times. Considering this country did enslave a group of people for hundreds of years might be something that damaged where they begin in life and yes, racism is alive and well in this country, I see plenty of it living in rural Utah. You can't hide these things from me, I know the exist in levels much higher than any of you are comfortable admitting. And yes they exist both ways, but people who claim they are not racist I've heard say racist things many times. I don't want to hear the lie racism isn't a big issue still, and/or that the President doesn't wink at it far too often.

Trump is fighting for all of us, against the extremely corrupt politicians that have become entrenched in our government over the years. You should be thankful and appreciative for that but instead you choose to side with the corrupt, criminal side of the political aisle.

Oneye, you missed my point about the racial slur. I couldnt find anything racial in what I read, Just because these women are " women if color", as it seam the chosen discriprion. They cant cry racism because of it. If there were 4 white men that constantly bashed america and were told the exact same thing, then what would it be., My veiw is its racist to call any insident like this racist, if the same act agaist,gay/straight , white/ colored, man/ women.were made without (direction) for lack of a better word. Not allowing entitelment for any group is NOT racist, its the opposite. You afford them the right to there view, but not someone elses without claiming racism.

Health care is not a right.
Illegal immigration is illegal, and NO benifits should be afforded to illegals.
The death penalty is way under used.and should be used not just for muderers but also for child molesters, and organised crime.
There should be work requirments for any handouts.
If you want schooling pay for it.

Oh but they do, they were elected by American citizens. Ones you disagree with, but fellow Americans nonetheless. As for labeling people. I mean I guess you can call it that, but this isn't hearsay like many of you who say things about other cultures and viewpoints while having no experience with people who hold them. I have lived my entire life around people with the conservative/fox news closed minded places who spend their entire lives around people who think, look, and have the same political and religious beliefs as them and then call people names, or un-American because they thing differently than they do. Find me a better argument than calling things you don't agree with fake news, or media brainwashing. Maybe you've been brainwashed by the dude who's done plenty of pretty rotten things in his life. Most of my agreement with democrats is on the environmental side of things. They certainly go to far there, but climate change is very real, and I do get very tired of the conservative side of the political isle pretending our environment and things like clean air and water are not important. Some of you worry so much about guns that you forget that these animals we all love to hunt need viable habitats and migration corridors to thrive, along with a clean environment and water.

I don't agree with democrats on abortion, I don't agree with them on guns but I do think there are things that could be improved as far as gun laws in this country. As for schooling and healthcare, I think an educated society and country and giving people easier pathways to an education and financial help to it is a big benefit to this country. Investing in our countries education is a smart thing to do and will better the life of everyone in this country to have a more educated population. Yes I believe we should spend money on education in this country and a lot more of it.

As for illegal immigration, even in a small rural town in Utah where jobs can be hard to come by businesses can't get our wonderful lazy Americans to work, show up, or keep their job. I know several places who simply can't find anyone to work. I also know many mexican families who are the hardest working people I know and are a huge benefit and part of our communities. Immigration needs to be fixed to make it easier for people to come here. Sorry, but all the people on food stamps who aren't willing to work that I know are good old American citizens, and many of the hardest working people I know who are happy to work and are good workers are immigrants.

As for our healthcare system it absolutely needs an overhaul. Is healthcare a right? No. But it shouldn't bankrupt you or destroy your right to get medical health so you can live.

I don't agree with their economic policies in many ways, and don't care for the political correctness that has gone a bit too far, but Trump is too far in the other direction. Everyones just in a battle to see who can act more childish.
 
Well, my mother was a first generation American immigrant, so I probably know more about other cultures and viewpoints than you do. She was also damn proud to become American.
Some of your representatives, like the 4 mentioned before, actively support people to break our laws. They blame America for 9/11 and say we deserved it.
You can enjoy your open minded CNN and CNBC and feel good about welcoming all sides of a discussion.
If not agreeing with Pelosi, Schumer, Obama, or your AOC, and vocally disagreeing with them, makes me closed minded, so be it. I feel great about what I stand for and believe in. Trump is actually getting some great things done for this country, even if he is a loud mouth, abrasive person.

No actually I didn't. Not everything has to be a binary issue. There?s this thing called middle ground that can at some point be found. But hold tight to your religion of politics and grab on tight to that one side. Oneye I am also a rural Utah resident. I see things differently than you. I dont see many lazy people who wont work, for one. I work 40 to 45 hrs a week at my job, and most employees there do the same. I live 20 miles from my job, I dont live in a town, I commute, and in doing so I see many people doing the same, on the roads, farm feilds, gas stations ect. I live in Sanpete Co. And I guess we will just have to agree to disagree as I see most issues very very different from the democrat veiw.

I didn't say it's a majority of people, there's plenty of good hard working people, there's also plenty of lazy people who won't work and most of them aren't the people who Trump wants you to believe. I live in Sevier county. Go walk out your door. Most everyone you see will look and believe everything like an echo chamber as yourself. I know what the beliefs are here. It's a monoculture bubble where everything just echoes back to you to back up your belief along with thinking down on people and cultures who are different than you. I fully understand what the predominant culture and belief is here and some of it is not exactly accepting or open minded. It's a close minded bubble who is hateful to those who are different than them.

Do yourself a favor, go meet people who are different and believe different things than you instead of blinding yourself to the fact Sanpete County is not the only place in the nation and there are other ideas and cultures out there that are just as nice even if they disagree with you or don't do the things you have been echoed chambered into thinking is the only way of thinking or doing things.

When you walk out your door in Sanpete county you can travel hours in every direction and it's still that same echo chamber. Most everyone?s the same color, most everyone?s the same religion, most everyone is the same political orientation. Some of you don't realize the echo chamber full of a mono-culture and one thought process and you speak ill of people outside of that chamber because they're different than you. Other cultures and people are not the boogey man that Sanpete or Sevier county would like you to believe. Go meet those people, talk to them, they aren't that bad.

I kind of knew what I was getting into. And despite how much some of you want to deny it. The President winks at racism and bigotry of all kinds constantly. Sadly it is also rampant in the place I grew up. You can't hide your bigotry, hatred, racism, and homophobia from me guys. I've spent plenty of time in Sanpete county, lived in and grew up in Sevier county. Many of you are racist, many of you are homophobic, many of you do hate people and cultures that are different than you or look at them differently. I've seen it in words and actions in my own community constantly. You may be nice to people to their face but I'm someone who knows what a lot of you say in private. None of you will admit to the ugly things rampant in our communities but it's there and you know it is, denying it doesn't make it any less true.

Maybe the hundreds of years of deep racial roots that this country has has current day impacts. Racism is alive and well and you are part of it. Maybe stop pretending it doesn't exist or that the ramifications of hundreds of years of slavery have no impacts. It does make a difference because California politicians are crazy to the left. I wouldn't vote for any of them. Vote for a decent candidate and put your name next to someone reasonable. Personally I could vote for Andrew Yang. I will never find a candidate I agree with on everything but from everything I've seen he is reasonable enough a candidate I could vote for. He has been willing to reach out and even go on to opposing platforms that other democratic candidates would scoff at. He even went on Ben Shapiros podcast at one point for an hour long episode and they had a very civil discussion on several issues. I need candidates who are reasonable, and he seems very reasonable.

Just to be clear I don't hate them because of their color or religious beliefs, I hate them because they hate America and are doing the best they can to destroy the country I live in! There is a big difference!

Ummm no. They believe something different from what you believe. You can love America and not agree with you. They can't hate Trump and still like America. You don't have to think America is perfect or love everything about it. You are also right there is a difference, however, they are elected representative of millions of people in this nation. Just because they don't think like you, does not mean they should leave or be told to leave by the current President no matter what political affiliation.

I hate liberal Californians more than any race. I moved to Oregon from Arizona and the Governor McCall said you California people are welcome to visit here, now GO HOME!. He was spot on. I don't have any issue with someone supporting some of his policies. I have an issue with those who put on the blinders and act like he does no wrong or that he's not kind of a terrible guy.

I can put names and faces to those accusations obviously. No I do not feel targeted, I just see/hear things that are racist/homophobic/bigoted often and they are meant to be that way, it's just straight to the point exactly that. Most people wouldn't peg me to be someone who cares about these sorts of things, so yes I see people?s unfiltered selves. It doesn't mean they necessarily dislike people of a given race/ethnicity but they do look down on their culture, who they are, or make jokes about things having to do with those things. Obviously Mormon culture is part of it in Utah. If you drink, have a tattoo, are gay, or aren't that perfect little Mormon you're absolutely looked at differently or like the devil if you have a sip of beer on the weekend simply because it doesn't align with someone?s view. Getting better, but still prevalent. Just because someone is overtly rude about these things doesn't mean the feelings aren't there.

As for the tweet, I've explained it several times. I can't make you like my explanation.

Obviously not, but making no effort to understand another culture or viewpoint and just labeling it as bad is not a great thing.

If you aren't willing at times to call things out like Trump who winks at racism far too often. Consider a viewpoint from a minority on how Trumps comments make them feel. It doesn't mean you have to agree, I have simply grown tired of people insulating a self aggrandizing ##### who uses inflammatory rhetoric for political gain and doesn't care about the divisiveness he causes in the country.

Its not about ones understanding of a slight, a slight is not racism. Not engulfing yourself in a culture not your own, is not racism. You csn not even want to be part of another person or groups culture, and you can want your own culture preserved and not infringed and still not be racist. As for you analogy of mormonism . I chew tobacco, I have numerous tattoos, I have a drink once in a while, I also had a BBQ last week with a local church leader and his wife, that made for 2 minoritys and Im white, so you figure it out. I havent been in a church in years. We are freinds because tie flies and build fly rods, they flyfish. We have been friends for around 5 years and if my memory sesrves me, we have talked about race no more than 4 or 5 times and religon abiut the same. We talk about fishing, hunting kids and grand kids. Mabey its you that needs to get out and meet NEW people.

You don't get it at all. It's not about disagreement on a policy. It's about gross things being said by the President. I can agree/disagree on his policy. We should all be able to say he said something bad when he did instead of turning a blind eye to it in the name of politics like you all choose to do.

It's not the old Republican Party anymore. They're not going to back off or lay down or be shamed with false accusations. It's kind of cute to see someone try though.

I don't care if Trump IS a racist or a bigot. Big deal. He wasn't elected to teach Sunday School. He doesn't hate whites as much as progressives do. That's just as racist. Mostly, Trump is not Hillary. We got a couple solid picks to the Supreme Court.
