When Utah and Texas are competitive you know the gig up for the Republican brand. When a major party nominee questions the peaceful transfer of power and fans the flames of the moron class without a rebuke from the Republican party then we know the sign is neigh for the death of the party.

The once grand old party has killed itself by playing to the lowest common denominator and preying upon weak minded people who can't grasp that the times have changed.

Denial isn't a river in Egypt. The looming electoral thumping that Trump is about to receive will set back the conservative movement at least a decade. The saving grace is that we will retain the House and by a slim margin the Senate for this cycle but if the damage Trump has done to the Conservative brand grows this sets the stage for complete capitulation from the right.

Any sane person who can't see the damage Trump is doing to the right needs to put down the crack pipe and take the syringe out of the main vein.

Hillary is a turd but Trump has made electing a turd the choice a majority of Americans are going to be willing to live just to make sure he never sets foot in their White House. It is a disgusting way to run a country.

No she did not. I do agree, "God help us", a large portion of our citizens are complete morons. Don't bother checking if that information was already in the public domain, which it is. Find something real to be upset over, it's not like there is any shortage of things to find.

When Jill Stein essentially endorses Trump over Hillary and Madonna is offering blow jobs to voters that pull the lever for Hillary, well... quite a predicament we're in as a country!

Anyone, ANYONE who run in the Republican primaries could have beat Hillary, except for Trump. Does anyone believe the DNC just got the tape of Trump vulgar responses about women. I'll guarantee you they've had it for quite sometime, they just wanted to insure Trump won the nomination.
The only positive of this is, Billiary will be a one term president. Guarantee. In 4 years we'll be able to call her Billiary Carter.

There were a few of us here over the last year that beat the warning drums, but it was to no avail. Excuses, deflections, secret plans, he tells like it is, he's an outsider, it was all a bad reality show.

Having 2 healthy parties representing the people is good for everybody. An unhealthy conservative party can open the floodgates tp neo-liberalism, the other end of the spectrum from neo-conservatism. America lives somewhere in the middle.

Hillary will be like Bush Sr., the country does not have a history of the same party back to back 2 full terms unless...

Unless so much damage will be done now and after November 10th that the party may have to reform to be a contender and burn through a whole cycle reorganizing. 2020 will be difficult cycle for the GOP or what is left of it.

Once the reality sets in what is the point of being a "loyal" party member? If the RNC servers were hacked there will be just as much dirt. Both parties suck for 1 reason, money. Take away the money and you will get representation. There is a reason the 1% have done so well, our 535 member congress is made up of millionaires.

Do you want paid for representation which you have now or real democratic representation? If it is the latter than you should look into public campaign financing. Legislators should not be spending half their time in office hustling money for their re-election campaign.

FW, public campaign financing would not fix the problem. Those bums would still sell out to special interests for writing new bills or blocking bills that would help those special interests who have the big bucks.

A good example is Warren Buffet and the pipeline that was shot down by Obama. Buffet will continue making millions upon more millions with his railroad transporting oil and will continue greasing the palms of politicians.

Incorrect RELH. You do not understand Public Campaign financing. It's very existence kills special interest money. Once you get to a certain point, your campaign is allocated X amount of dollars. Politicians would not be able to take a single dollar for their campaigns. Then they would have to do what? And the only way the get re-elected is to do what?

FW, you are na?ve as they come. They would take their money under the table. To get around campaign dollars to campaign with, they would have those special interest big dollar companies sponsor and pay for the commercials instead of it coming from their campaign allotment money.
