Turkey Hunting up Butterfield Canyon

So Saturday I went to go scout for the upcoming turkey hunt around Nebo and the area I was planning to hunt still has a foot of snow and no turkey sign to be found. My dad drew a early Central tag and now I am scrambling to find a new area. Does anyone know if you can hunt up Butterfield Canyon?

LAST EDITED ON Mar-23-10 AT 00:10AM (MST)[p]I think your going to have some issues with hunting butterfield since most if not all the canyon is private property on the Salt Lake side . The gate is still shut , but its been getting a lot of use from the four wheelers . Not sure how the Tooele or Main Canyon side is this time of the year .

Tooele side is gated until mid-May at the earliest.

I beleive that area is part of The Heaston CWMU unit. Better check your proclamation as most of the area is privately owned.
