If you plan on having a campfire in the Wilderness, you'll have to make sure you camp a quarter mile or more away from a lake. This reg applies to nearly all lakes on the South Slope and some on the North Slope. Probably not a problem for ya if you're only hunting and you don't plan on any fishing close to camp. For avid Uintah anglers who love campfires, like myself, it is somewhat of an inconvenience and a little irritating. At any rate, have fun up there when ya go, Its a beautiful place!
