Hey Boys, Has anybody been in the white mtns? Im trying to figure out what kind of vegitations up there. Google earth shows alot of something growing. Is it Mahogoney, bitterbrush, juniper?
Can you get above timberline? Thanks. Tony

Most of what you're seeing on Google Earth is PJ. There are areas of open sagebrush, with some service berry mixed in. I don't think you can really be above timberline, but there are several mountains with no trees on them. Its really more like a high desert in a lot of the unit and several old, old burn areas.
