Unit 16 Antelope Camping

We have been assigned to the Luera Ranch for our Unit 16 antelope hunt in two weeks. There are not many lodging options so we are planning to use our wall tent and camp as close to the ranch as possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good place to set up a camp near the Luera Ranch? Here is a Google Earth image of the area.

I will post pics at the end of the hunting season with all our hunts from 2015. We are off to a good start.

Paddy's hole, go past the ranch about 6 miles (on 163), you will come to a white tank on the right side of the road it say's paddy's hole. Go past that (about 400 yards) take your first left. Make sure you have GPS so you camp on BLM there is a game warden there who will be more than happy to ticket you for any thing. Good luck.
