Unit 5 Deer

I am a non resident and have 8 points for deer. I was thinking of putting in for a 4th season hunt in unit 5 in 2017. Has anybody had this tag during the fourth season? Are there any decent bucks on public land during this season or have they all been pushed onto private? Does anybody have any other suggestions for a decent hunt with 8 points?

I think this is the unit that has a fire going on right now, check my other thread here in CO forum to make sure. I have a link in there to current status. May affect your decision.

I believe the Beaver Creek Fire is in unit 161. Area 5 is on the other side of the divide and may have had higher than average winter kill this year.
