My self and brother drew unit 61 elk.
Im just wondering what can we expect?
Number of animals?
Quality?
Terrain?
Weather?

The odds say a high percentage of 6pts.

First of all, what are the dates on your hunt? There is a very high population of elk in the area. You will need to make sure you are in shape because you will need to put in the miles to find them. The area is huge and terrain is fairly rough. I'll need to know your dates for your hunt to give you advice on the weather. There are some MONSTER elk up there, but they are not stupid. They have a lot of animals hunting them (i.e. grizzlies and wolves) along with people. There are TONS of grizzlies up there so you have to be careful! I drew the either sex deer hunt for that area along with 62A and 60 this year. I'm really excited for it. I've also hunted elk and bear up there in previous years.
