Unit 61 muzzle cow

Hello gentlemen and ladies. I have drawn unit 61 muzzle cow and was hoping I could get a little advice. I have never been in Unit 61 and not able to scout prior to Sept. There will be two DIY hunting ages 65+ so dropping into canyons is out. We are after the meat, but main reason for putting in for Unit 61 is to see plenty of elk, maybe take some photos of bulls. If you don't mind and share some info on the unit and some recommended spots to start. I have ordered maps and been searching Col Atlas in the north end of Unit 61 Any help will be appreciated. You should not have much trouble filling those tags ..... pretty much any place off the divide road you find elk. south end is a little easier to navigate than the north end which has those big canyons you wanted to avoid. feel free to contact me with any question as i live about 30 minutes from the south end of the unit and spend a lot of time up there in the fall....will be scouting a lot this summer for my brother and his 2 boys as they drew 1st rifle tags.
