I drew unit 61 archery deer this year. I have hunted the unit a couple of times. I have always hunted North of Columbine Pass. I just spent 3 days in the unit and spent some time in the southern part of the unit. It looked like some great country that I will spend some more time in.
For those who have hunted the whole unit is there any thing you like better in the South than in the North? Private Land issues? Deer quantity? Terrain? Hunter or camping crowding?
Just trying to narrow down some areas for scouting and maybe see some new country.
