Unit 75/751

I was just looking for some opinions/thoughts about about Unit 75 and 751 this fall for Deer, November actually, season 3 or 4.

I understand these units get a lot of tags, especially third season. I was just wondering what to expect as far as quality of bucks, weather, public land available, amount of hunters etc.

I was going to go back to playing the points game, but I would just like to hunt every other year or so. I was also wondering how the winter is/was on the unit this year.

PM me if you would like, and if anyone would like I would be happy to trade some ideas, thoughts in Idaho/Wyoming.

Thanks ahead of time.

I have archery hunted 751, there are tons of public land, not many hunters if you get off the beaten path.

By third season I have heard most of the game has moved down on private land.

I have hunted it 3 years on the 3rd hunt and once on the 4th,
Weather does not mean alot, i muzzy hunted it in 09 and there
were as many deer down low in the private in september as in
november. We hunted up at 10 to 12 thousand feet for the first
5 days and saw very few deer.

The small amounts of lower public land in november get
pounded really hard, private land is the only way to
go, but it is hard to get permission, The sothern
Ute's have 70% of the lowere country, and you don't
want to step foot on it.

Good luck, I killed 1 buck out of 5 years hunting, but
I was looking for 170 or better.

Utehunter can non tribal members hunt the reservation at all (trespass fee)?
