Rackmaster; If bin laden had been killed a month or two before the 2012 election, it would have been a good chance for Obama to get re-elected.

As it happen today, by election time the vast majority of voters will have one thing on their mind. That will be the sorry condition of the economy along with high gas prices. The average voter will have forgotten about getting bin laden and will be focused on jobs, income, taxes, and the high price of driving due to gas prices.

Bin laden is now no longer a major distraction and the people will now focus that much more on the economy and blame Obama for his failure to fix things with his "Change" that he promised and failed to deliver according to the average voter's mind.
